Hello everybody. Hope you haven’t forgotten previous emtacl conferences? The date for the next emtacl conference in Trondheim, Norway has been decided, it will be held the 20-22 of April 2015. Be sure to set a mark in your calendar. The conference venue will be the same as previous years.
Welcome both “previous attendees and new ones.
Be sure to check out this blog for more information concerning the conference. For those of you not familiar with the conference just take a look at the previous conferences held (emtacl 10 and emtacl12).
We have had to do some changes in the programme. The most noticeable change is the fact that our keynote Paul Harvey is not able to attend the emtacl12 conference. Luckily we have been able to replace him with an other excellent keynote speaker, Richard Wallis from OCLC. He will give a presentation with the title “OCLC Worldshare and Linked Data”.
Now the emtacl12 programme has been updated with links to the submitted abstracts. All of the submitted abstracts could also be found from the main page menu called “submitted abstracts”.
Well it’s about time for those of you that still is considering to participate. A lot of interesting keynotes together with several sessions with interesting paper/project presentations. No reason for you to wait for registration.
Draft programme will soon be published.
emtacl12 is a technology-oriented conference for information professionals working in higher education. As such, we are interested in gathering the most respected speakers within their fields to provide ideas and inspiration that will help shape the work of the information profession in academic institutions. We expect between 200-300 attendees. The conference takes place in Trondheim, Norway 1-3 October 2012, and is hosted by NTNU University Library.
